Every week you will have a writing exercise related to the general topic of reading from that week.

It means that you’ll have the chance to put into practice all the vocabulary you picked up.

You’ll be able to reinforce your learning and make sure that you retain more of the vocabulary and structures that you’ve learned that week.

In addition to that, this is going to transfer to your speaking as well because you’ll have had the time to think before you write. So, when you speak, it’s going to be faster. Think of it like when you are walking or hiking. The first time everything is unfamiliar, but the second time and the third time, it’s much easier. Same with expressing yourself in writing and speaking.

Never forget a word or a structure with targeted exercises

You’ll have weekly exercises in addition to your writing practice. These exercises are to be done directly on the platform. You just have to click and choose, fill in the gaps, and reorder a few things: weekly vocabulary and grammar practice done!

For the reading sessions, there is a limit of five students per group. This is to ensure two things:

Firstly: focus. We’ll be able to focus on the reading at hand.

The weekly group coaching with other Brazilians is not capped at 5 students since the whole school may show up. But I’m always present to make sure everyone can talk.

We read everything: short stories, comics, essays, short books, and selected excerpts from long works such as novels.

Those materials are chosen so you can cover them in one week (our goal) but longer texts can take up to one month to be covered to satisfaction. No matter how long we spend, though, you’ll have enough time to live with the text and absorb the grammar, vocabulary, and cultural aspects included within.
